Sel’s seal of approval! Selena Gomez took to Twitter on Thursday, May 12, to endorse Katy Perry’s response to the pictures of the “Dark Horse” singer’s beau, Orlando Bloom, seemingly engaging in some PDA with Gomez in Las Vegas, which surfaced online earlier this week.
Perry, 31, addressed the drama surrounding the actor and Gomez by tweeting a link to a Time magazine article about Bloom’s charity work in eastern Ukraine. “Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy 🚮 check out how C👁👁L this is,” she wrote to her 88.4 million followers.
Gomez, 23, retweeted Perry’s message accompanied by a praise-hands emoji. In a subsequent tweet, the pop princess continued to downplay her interactions with the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 39.

Bloom and Gomez were spotted getting close at Light, the nightclub inside Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Saturday, May 7, following the Disney Channel alum’s first concert on her Revival Tour.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the pair are getting cozy at the “Good for You” songstress’ afterparty for her Sin City show. In another pic, the two flash huge grins as they sit locked in a close embrace in a corner booth at the club.
An eyewitness told Us Weekly that “Selena was just trying to have a good time with friends, but Orlando was all over her. He kept pulling her close to him.”
Bloom’s coquetry with Gomez occurred as Perry was attending a Renaissance festival in California. “Selena likes Orlando as a friend and is not trying to get between him and Katy,” the insider adds to Us.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Gomez and Bloom’s respective exes Justin Bieber and Miranda Kerr were seen flirting with each another at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2012, which inspired an unexpected — and vengeful — relationship between the former Wizards of Waverly Place star and the hunky Brit. In 2014, Bloom reportedly got into a fight with the Biebs, 22, over his behavior with Kerr at a club in Ibiza, Spain.
Perry and Bloom have been spending time together since they first hit it off at a Golden Globe afterparty back in January. The chart-topper, who was married to Russell Brand for 14 months prior to splitting in 2011, was last linked to John Mayer. Bloom and ex-wife Kerr share son Flynn, 5.
