That face, though! Bachelor alum Melissa Rycroft shared the first photo of her precious newborn son, Cayson Jack, via Instagram on Thursday, May 19.
“Cayson Jack. 5-18-16. Welcome to the world, little one,” Rycroft captioned the black-and-white hospital photo. In the pic, Rycroft and Cayson have an adorable staring contest as he’s wrapped in a blanket and wears a cotton hat.
Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday that the Dancing With the Stars season 15 champ and her husband, insurance agent Tye Strickland, welcomed their third child together in Dallas. The couple — married since 2009 — are already parents to daughter Ava, 5, and son Beckett, 2.
Rycroft, 33, opened up about up about the ups and downs of parenthood back in June 2011. “I am a firm believer that if your marriage can survive a newborn, you can survive pretty much anything!” she told Us at the HTC EVO 3D launch party in West Hollywood at the time. “It’s trying, it’s tough, it’s hard [to have a child]. You are operating on very little sleep with very little patience, but at the end of the day, it’s [about] teamwork. You’ve got to do it together.”
