Where’s a copy editor when you need one? In a new promo for season 7 of Teen Mom 2, MTV butchered the spelling of cast member Kailyn Lowry’s name — and she doesn’t seem too thrilled about it!
In a commercial teasing Lowry’s story line on the series’ next installment, the Pride Over Pity author’s first name is misspelled as “Kaiylin.” The ad reads, “Kaiylin is back.”
Fans took to Twitter to alert the 23-year-old mom of Isaac, 6, and Lincoln, 2, to the mistake. While she didn’t comment herself, Lowry retweeted a slew of posts that took aim at the network for misprinting her moniker.

This isn’t the first time the reality star has taken issue with MTV this year. When the premiere date for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2 was announced last month, the Delaware resident expressed frustration over being the last to know.
“LOVE when I’m a part of something and people don’t tell you big dates/important things!” she lamented in a tweet on February 11. “So professional.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, viewers will watch Lowry face major challenges, including a heartbreaking miscarriage and her husband Javi Marroquin’s Air Force deployment in season 7 of the series.
Teen Mom 2 returns to MTV on Monday, March 21, at 10 p.m. EST.
