Married at First Sight’s Jessica Castro fears for her life. After filing for a restraining order from her estranged husband, Ryan De Nino, after he allegedly threatened to kill her and her family, Castro’s lawyer Marc Rapaport tells Us Weekly that she’s “very scared.”

“[Jessica] was very scared — she is very scared. This was scary stuff,” Rapaport tells Us, confirming that his client’s petition alleges De Nino was captured on a live microphone on the set of the A&E show making death threats to her back in May.

“The petition alleges that there were two very serious threats by the respondent against my client and one of which made specific reference to her family members,” Castro’s lawyer confirmed to Us. According to the New York Post, De Nino, 29, told Castro: "I will break you into f—ing pieces, I will break your dad into pieces. I will make your whole family disappear – and your f—ing dog-ass sister's boyfriend."

In the filing, Castro claimed that her husband, whom the experts on the experimental A&E show paired her with without having the two meet first, cheated on her on Valentine’s Day.

"A week prior to [Valentine’s Day] we had a blow-up because he told me that he was going to be busy. So I didn’t see him. Not a card, not a nothing," the law firm receptionist revealed during Tuesday night’s episode. "A few weeks later, I find a Valentine's Day card from another female at his apartment."

“Ryan was trying to make it work with someone else,” she said during the reunion special. “That's why it didn't work."

De Nino is set to appear in court July 13.
