Where’s the “Love” button? Mark Zuckerberg rang in the new year with his wife, Priscilla, and their little bundle of joy, Max — and plenty of wise words for Facebook users.
“I hope your 2016 is happy, healthy and productive,” the 31-year-old Facebook CEO wrote on Friday, January 1. “As the world faces new challenges and opportunities, may we all find the courage to keep making progress and making all our days count.”
The new dad also shared a touching snapshot of himself holding a grumpy-looking 1-month-old Max as Priscilla, 30, looks on.
The couple, who reside in Palo Alto, California, welcomed Max to their growing family (the pair are also pet parents to their dog, Beast) December 1, and since have been documenting her life via social media.
In early December, Zuckerberg shared an adorable photo of himself changing Max’s diaper via Facebook.
“One more down, thousands to go,” he captioned the picture.
In November, the young CEO announced that he would be taking a two-month paternity leave to spend quality time with his family.
“Priscilla and I are starting to get ready for our daughter’s arrival,” he shared on Facebook November 20. “We’ve been picking out our favorite childhood books and toys. We’ve also been thinking about how we’re going to take time off during the first months of her life.”
Zuckerberg added that “every day things are getting a little more real for us, and we’re excited to start this next stage in our lives.”
