Starting World War III? The Bachelorette season 12 hothead Chad — one of JoJo Fletcher‘s remaining suitors — isn’t pleased when his supposed pal Daniel compares him to Hitler in the Monday, June 6, episode.
In the ABC dating series’ preview clip, Daniel, 31, calls Chad, 28, out for punching a wall and for generally “intimidating” the other guys. Daniel wants the luxury real estate agent to realize that his antics are making him tough to be friends with, but the Canadian contestant uses an unfortunate analogy.
“Let’s just pretend you’re Hitler,” Daniel says.
A confused Chad replies, “Let’s not pretend I’m Hitler.”
Daniel soldiers on unfazed with the comparison: “If I hang out with you, it’s gonna make me look bad too, right?”
“So let’s be not so much like Hitler — maybe be more like Mussolini, you know? Or [George W.] Bush, right?” adds Daniel. As everyone knows, The Bachelorette viewers come for the romance, but they stay for the lessons in international politics.
