Back at it! Kim Kardashian returned to the gym on Wednesday, March 9, and Snapchatted a nearly nude portrait of herself that hangs inside celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson’s gym.
“I miss you!” Kardashian, 35, captioned her Snapchat, referring to her former physique. (The social media maven just joined Snapchat Tuesday night.)
The reality star has been vocal about getting back in shape since welcoming her second child, son Saint, with husband Kanye West this past December. After posting her controversial nude mirror selfie on Monday, March 7, Kardashian explained the snap was a throwback. “I’m flattered some of u guys thought my post earlier was a recent pic! That was my blonde moment a year ago & 25lbs less! #MondayMotivation,” she tweeted.
In January, the E! star explained that she gained 60 pounds during her pregnancy and that she’s been struggling to lose another 10 pounds on top of that for years.
“It’s time to really get to my goal,” the Selfish author tweeted. “I’m so excited! I’m 30 lbs down today but 40 to go! I’m so focused. I will show u guys my workouts on my app & share my Atkins plan too!”
The mom of two previously followed the low-carb diet to shed weight after she gave birth to her first child, daughter North West, in 2013.
Kim and her sister Khloe Kardashian love working out with Peterson, who also occasionally trains their brother, Rob Kardashian. As previously reported by Us, Khloe has lost more than 40 pounds since joining forces with Peterson, and according to the trainer, Kim is “well on her way!”
“She’s crushing the workouts,” Peterson tells Us Weekly.
