Things are getting serious! In a preview for the Sunday, April 10, episode of Teen Mom 2, Chelsea Houska and now-fiancé Cole DeBoer take their relationship to the next level by putting down an offer on a house together.
In the clip, the reality TV twosome invite their friend Britnee over to tell her the exciting news. “So, guess what? We put down an offer on a house!” Houska, 24, excitedly tells her gal pal.
Britnee asks the MTV personality if she’s “jumping out of her pants,” to which the young mom responds by joking: “I s–t mine!”
Houska’s beau then pulls out his iPhone to show Britnee pictures of the first home they hope to purchase as a couple.
“There’s a lot of trees,” Houska raves of the residence before explaining: “OK, I literally thought when I bought [my current house] that I was like, ‘OK, I’m never gonna move again for a long time unless I find exactly what I want.’”
“Hopefully, they accept our offer,” she adds as she turns to DeBoer, who says, “Well, yeah, I’ve already been just making plans like it’s already ours.”
While they wait to hear back about their offer, the duo are keeping their possible move a secret from Houska’s 6-year-old daughter, Aubree. “Well, we’re not gonna tell her until it moves into the next steps,” the South Dakota native explains before gushing to her man: “I feel like we’re playing house together. That’s a big step!”
Houska and DeBoer’s home-owning aspirations were filmed prior to their November 2015 engagement.
“He’s stuck now,” the aesthetician announced on Instagram, flashing her pre-bridal bling in a selfie with her groom-to-be.
“Cole brought me to a personal spot in the woods where he had photos lining the tree,” Houska told MTV of the romantic moment. “The pictures hanging were of him and I and the three of us as a family. … Cole asked Aubree if it was okay if he married her mommy. She immediately said yes, was extremely excited, and gave him a big hug.”
