In February, McAllister was taken to the hospital after police in Columbus, Ohio, received a 911 call about the prescription medication overdose. The reality personality was thought to be in stable condition, but her body later shut down, TMZ reported at the time. She passed away in the hospital on February 16 after life support was withdrawn. A family member told TMZ that McAllister suffered from depression and bipolar disorder.

The late beauty was eliminated in the first week on season 14 of the long-running ABC reality dating show. She worked for a financial planning and wealth management company.

Sadly, McAllister isn’t the only Bachelor alum to commit suicide. Season 14 contestant Gia Allemand hanged herself in August 2013, and season 5 Bachelorette contestant Julien Hug shot himself in 2010.
