#TeamHef. Kendra Wilkinson dished exclusively to Us Weekly Video on Thursday, May 12, explaining why she lashed out at her former Girls Next Door costar and housemate Holly Madison on Twitter earlier in the day.
In case you missed it, after Madison claimed in a new interview that she lived in fear at the Playboy Mansion, Wilkinson put the Down the Rabbit Hole tell-all author — who was with Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008 — on blast, claiming that Madison is really just “embarrassed” about being the “clean up girl” who was responsible for having to “get Hef hard again.”
“I felt the need to respond because I feel like she thinks … she can just get away with it [being just] her side. … I have a right to respond to what I believe. I saw her every day with Hef, and what is being told is not what I saw,” Wilkinson, 30, tells Us. “No one is going to stick up for Hef. … I have to be the one. I don’t really care what she says about me, but it’s how she paints the Mansion. … It’s making me mad. … So many woman, thousands of woman, are so appreciative of Hef and they’re so happy that Hef gave them their chance.”
After posting the NSFW tweets — which included blasting Madison, 36, for taking a “d–k in her ass for a paycheck” — Wilkinson deleted her rant and apologized to her followers, but tells Us that she doesn’t regret them at all.
“It just makes me mad that she wants to move on but she keeps writing stuff about the Mansion. … I’m going to fight for Hef. That’s my job. … He’s done nothing wrong. … She lived at the Playboy Mansion, people, not a church.”
