No. 2! Tess Holliday gave birth to her second child on Monday, June 6, E! News reports. The plus-size model welcomed a baby boy named Bowie Juniper Holliday with her fiancé, Nick Holliday.
Little Bowie weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 22 inches long.
Nick also shared the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday, June 14. "Cats outta the bag! Meet my little guy, Bowie Juniper Holliday ❤️," he captioned an adorable photo with his newborn son.
Tess is already mom of 10-year-old son Rylee from a previous relationship. The beauty, who announced her pregnancy in January, has been dating Nick since 2012.
While pregnant with her second child, the model faced backlash from body shamers, but she didn’t stay silent. Instead, she took to social media to address her critics.
“What I’ve had to learn to be OK with (WHICH IS NOT COOL) is the fact that people still think it’s OK to comment on my body: ‘you don’t look pregnant,’ ‘you must be hav[ing] quadruplets,’ & a slew of other uneducated statements that are very far from my reality,” Holliday captioned an April 19 Instagram selfie of her baby bump when she was eight months pregnant. “When 'celebrities' are pregnant in the press, they look glamorous, toned & are eager to talk about how they are going to get the baby weight off. While I’ve done my best to look as put together as possible, that’s not real life, & it’s not for most women. I’m not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby & share it with the world, & I certainly won’t be the last.”
The mom of two remained unfazed by haters and continued to share pictures of her pregnancy.
On May 30 she shared a photo on Instagram of her “#babybump skills.” In the snapshot, she balances a red Solo cup on her belly while lounging in a pool.
