The coparenting begins. Bristol Palin shared a photo of her ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer hanging out with their recently born baby daughter, Sailor Grace, on Thursday, March 24.
“Too cute not to share,” Palin, 25, captioned the pic. This is the first time Meyer has appeared on the Dancing With the Stars alum’s Instagram account, and it hints that the exes’ joint visitation with their baby girl has started.
Kentucky native Meyer, a decorated Marine, was photographed this week in Anchorage, Alaska, where he met with his 3-month-old baby girl. Meyer, 27, took to Instagram this week to share a positive message with his followers that read: “Things turn out best for people who make the best out of the way things turn out.”
Indeed, he and his ex-fiancée have come a long way. Last month, Palin hinted that she was mending her relationship with both of her exes, Levi Johnston and Meyer, for the sake of Tripp, 7 — whom she shares with Johnston — and Sailor. Palin and Meyer reached a joint custody agreement last month, just as Sarah Palin‘s eldest settled her years-old drama with her other ex Johnston.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Palin said: “Every child deserves two loving parents, so I will continue to encourage that no matter what. I have never, and will never, keep them from having a positive relationship with their fathers. I did not ‘lose’ any custody case — my son has always spent most of his time with me and he will continue to do so, he is happy, healthy, and knows both of his parents love him. Matthew 5:11.”
