On the one-month anniversary of Chris’ passing, the Sonny With a Chance star, 29, posted an emotional Instagram tribute to Chris, sharing a picture of a note reading, “Your wings were ready but my heart was not.”

Her lengthy caption was penned as a letter to Chris, with whom she shared two kids, KJ and Bentley.

Today marks one entire month I've been without you Chris. As I sit here watching our little guys during their bath time I can't help but think that you should be here, that it's not fair that you had to leave this world so soon, that I was somehow robbed of growing old with you and having more babies with you and celebrating more anniversaries with you. Then I remember you weren't ever truly mine, you were always God's. I was simply borrowing you from your real home, Heaven. And I know no matter how happy you were here on earth it doesn't even compare to the peace and joy you have in Heaven. So tell God I wanna live in your mansion with you when I get there, I wanna fly through the rolling, beautiful hills holding your hand, I want to sing songs of praise and rejoice in eternity with you, my love. Until then I promise to make you proud as I raise our boys to know the spirit of God, to feel it flowing all around us as we cry together, laugh together and grow together… I will never ever ever forget you and I promise to make sure our boys don't forget you either. #missingyouChris #illloveyouforeverandalways
