Tina Fey isn’t one to filter her thoughts. And in a Tuesday, March 1, interview with SiriusXM host Howard Stern, the Saturday Night Live alum told the radio host that she was not impressed by the “Hollywood bulls–t” at the Oscars.

“I’m so glad I live here [in New York City], because halfway through [the Oscars], I was like, ‘This is some real Hollywood bulls–t,’” she joked. “Everyone’s telling me what to do. People are yelling at me about rape and corporate greed, but really, it’s climate change. I was like, ‘Guys, pick a lane. Like we’re going to fix everything tonight.’ And also, like, ‘You’re all rich. Why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?’”

During the Sunday, February 28, awards ceremony, Lady Gaga gave an emotional performance of The Hunting Ground’s “Til It Happens to You,” The Big Short’s Adam McKay called out rich people for funding campaigns during his acceptance speech for best adapted screenplay, and Leonardo DiCaprio spoke out about climate change when he went onstage for his best actor win for The Revenant.

Even though she felt overwhelmed by the politically correct messages that her peers promoted throughout the night, the Sisters star, 45, was actually taken by one speech in particular.

“I always am psyched when someone is articulate with those things because, let’s face it, actors are very stupid,” she said, praising DiCaprio’s acceptance speech. “But he’s so smart, and his speech was so cogent.”

When Stern, 62, pointed out that the Oscar winner’s call for social change seemed odd in light of his womanizing ways, calling DiCaprio “misogynistic,” Fey was quick to disagree.

“Is it misogynistic to sleep with a bunch of women who want to sleep with you?” she asked. “I don’t think it’s misogynistic. I think everybody there is up for it.”

The Whiskey Tango Foxtrot actress added that sleeping with lots of models didn’t directly impact the actor’s “green footprint” anyway.

Another celebrity that Fey was eager to embrace — literally! — at the Oscars was Caitlyn Jenner, though the former Olympian had no idea.

“The best sighting I had [at the Oscars] was Caitlyn Jenner,” the 30 Rock alum gushed. “I was trying so hard to have a moment with her, and I was trying to make eye contact … but she was not having me. Not on purpose [though].”
