Back with black! Instead of a summery shade, Kylie Jenner announced on Tuesday, May 24, that her next Lip Kit color will be a black metal matte called Majesty. The reality star, 18, teased a swatch on her Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page, which is followed by 3.7 million devotees.

“I just couldn’t wait to share,” the makeup maven captioned the photo. “Coming super soon.” She also modeled the look in a selfie, of course, while wearing a bronze shadow, pink blush and long faux lashes.

In a series of Snapchat videos that same day, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared that the shade came to be thanks to fan feedback. “Remember when I asked what color you guys would want to see next for Kylie Cosmetics?” she asked. “Well, a lot of you said black.” Jenner also posted another selfie taken outdoors to show off the color in a different light. “Yes it has blue undertones,” she captioned the image.

The young entrepreneur discussed the inspiration behind her insanely popular product in a post on her website. "Long before I got my lips done, I was really obsessed with lipstick," she wrote on Monday, May 23. "I was always trying to make my lips look bigger, but didn't want people to know I was actually wearing lipstick." She said that she used to overline her lips with MAC’s Whirl pencil.

"I was really into it, but once everyone figured out what I was wearing, it would sell out." Because of that, she created her own product to avoid not being able to get her hands on the pencil.

"In the beginning, I didn't care because I was doing it for me, but it's amazing how successful it is now,” Jenner said of the Lip Kit’s success. On May 19, she announced that every kit in every shade will be back in stock soon — which is especially good news for consumers who received empty boxes. In a TMZ report, the Better Business Bureau revealed that thieves have been targeting the products and swiping contents from the packages.
