Congrats! Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit McKee is pregnant with her third child with husband Josh McKee, Us Weekly can confirm.
A source tells Us that the reality star-turned–fitness fanatic is 20 weeks along and expecting her bundle of joy to arrive in early September. Mackenzie and Josh are also parents to son Gannon, 4, and daughter Jaxie, 2.
While other outlets have reported that Mackenzie and Josh are currently estranged, a source close to the one-time MTV personality tells Us that she and her hubby “are still together.”
The couple tied the knot in a gorgeous country-themed wedding in August 2013.
“Josh was whispering in my ear how much he loved me,” Mackenzie gushed to Us shortly after the romantic ceremony. “It was the best moment. It was like, ’We’re here, we did it.’”
As fans of the 16 & Pregnant alum know, Mackenzie has long suffered from type 1 diabetes. The illness posed a threat to her first two pregnancies.
“Although pregnant people like to eat a lot, I had to eat everything just right. If I had a low blood sugar, it was suffocating the baby, and when I had a high blood sugar, it was giving the baby extra sugar, which made him gain weight,” she told Starcasm of carrying Gannon in a 2012 interview. “It was very hard with all the hormones to keep my blood sugars normal. I did everything right and still had mess ups. So, yes, I had lots of complications. It was very hard. I honestly didn’t think I would make it.”
