The Donnie Loves Jenny star, 43, rocked a milk chocolate shade with bold, honey-hued highlights throughout. “Thank you @juliusmichaelsalon and @want_hair for the gorgeous new hair!” McCarthy wrote via Instagram, shouting-out Julius Michael of the Julius Michael Salon. “Loving the rich chocolate with blonde highlights from @kenraprofessional @brazilianbondbuilder 💗 #juliusmichael”

And the celebrity hairstylist returned the love. “Just when everyone starts going blonde for summer @jennymccarthy does the exact opposite. Blonde last week Brunette this week,” Michael captioned a before-and-after split. “After I made her #HotBitchPink last summer to #platinumblonde over the winter. I decided to go extreme and make #jennymccarthy a chocolate brown brunette.”

Michael also noted that he added extensions, giving the star’s stunning mane even more volume, and that he did not use bleach to makeover McCarthy’s style.
