Wait list watcher! AYR’s “The Form,” a pair of 100-percent-cotton denim, ripped, cropped jeans, which officially launched on May 3, had a 600-person wait list just hours after becoming available.
With a light wash and an on-trend style — not to mention a butt-lifting, tummy-tucking shape — The Form went up for pre-sale on Friday, April 29th, and sold out after just one day.
But fans of the pants ($275, ayr.com) who weren’t able to get their hands on a pair will have another chance. On Friday, May 13, the second shipment of jeans will go on sale. And the company tells Us Weekly that this time around, there are no pre-orders — it’s just first come, first served. “When it’s gone, it’s gone!” AYR explained in a statement.
Customers who were previously on the wait list but didn’t have their orders fulfilled get first dibs on the product, which comes back to the site in a smaller “chase quantity” created for additional demand.
