Gizelle Bryant Storms Away From Katie Rost Over Comments About Race in ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Season 1 Finale

Using labels as a weapon? The Real Housewives of Potomac stars get into a heated discussion about racial identity in the season 1 finale on Sunday, April 3, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.

The Bravo series’ clip shows Katie Rost and Robyn Dixon butting heads over Dixon’s previously asking Rost — after having seen Michael Darby touch Andrew Martin‘s butt on the dance floor — whether this was something that white guys do. Rost, whose mother is African American and father is Jewish, has had friction this season with some of the women over the fact that she refers to herself as biracial, not black.

“It’s offensive to me that you think that I’m not a black woman,” Rost tells Dixon. “I’m not just African American — I’m also Caucasian. I’m biracial. What the hell is wrong with that?”

Gizelle Bryant then joins the fray as she stands up to leave the ladies’ table.

“You act like it was a problem to be black,” Bryant tells Rost as she walks away.
