Ali Fedotowsky needs some book recommendations. “My doctor has me on modified bed rest,” the 32-weeks-pregnant Bachelorette alum told Us Weekly on Friday, May 20, at the Step Up Inspiration Awards luncheon in L.A. “I have this thing called uterine irritability where I have contractions all day. So, like, every two minutes I get contractions.”
While Fedotowsky revealed that she is “in pain,” she said the worst part is being confined to the couch. “I have to direct my fiancé, Kevin [Manno], like, ‘Hey, can you do this? Can you do this?’” the 31-year-old told Us. “And I don’t like that. I like getting up and doing things. We’re trying to finish the nursery, but I just have to sit on the couch and watch him do everything. So it’s a little bit of a bummer.”
Both Fedotowsky and the MYfm radio host are counting down the days until their little girl’s July 13 due date. “Kevin is so excited. We went to Barnes & Noble the other day, and he picked out a daddy and daughter book and started crying in the middle of the bookstore,” she said. “Like, he is so ready. He is already wrapped around her little finger.”
The former Bachelorette recently revealed that her sex drive is close to nil since getting pregnant. “Mentally, I can’t get past the fact that something so adult is happening in the presence of my little baby,” she told Fit Pregnancy and Baby. “I mean, we’ll be intimate once in a while, but it’s not the same.”
Fedotowsky and Manno got engaged in September 2015.
