Which fairy tales has she been reading? A woman butts heads with her parents when they want her to actually meet her husband before their wedding day on the Sunday, December 20, episode of Married by Mom and Dad, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look.
The TLC series focuses on four single people who enlist their parents to pick their spouses. In the clip, Christina Rollyson sits down with her mom and dad to discuss Kevin, who her parents have picked for her to marry. But things get tense when they want her to meet Kevin before tying the knot.
“I want to meet my husband at the altar — it’s my fairy tale,” the 33-year-old travel agent tells the camera. “Really, this is what I had envisioned.”
Rollyson points out that she has been “adamant” about waiting until she walks down the aisle to come face to face with her groom, which leads her to have doubts about her parents’ chosen man.
“At this point in time, there are some reservations, or some reason why they want me to meet him,” she reasons.
