Mama and daughter mermaids! Jenna Dewan Tatum and daughter Everly dressed up as mythical sea creatures in an adorable Instagram photo on Friday, December 18.
“Happening,” Dewan Tatum’s husband, Channing Tatum, captioned the pic of his wife and 2-year-old daughter, which showed them lying on the floor wearing purple mermaid fins.
The Magic Mike hunk, 35, opened up in a Vanity Fair interview in August about Dewan Tatum, 34, giving birth to their daughter.
“It was crazy,” the actor said of welcoming their first child in May 2013. “My wife, she’s a warrior. It’s scary. You made this thing and have to bring it into the world together. You think people are going to be there, but ultimately you just have each other.”
The Foxcatcher star also said that the couple have fully embraced parenthood.
“I think every parent has that moment where they’re like, ‘Oh, maybe this was a bad idea; we don’t know how to do this,’” he said. “You can’t put it back in there. It doesn’t go that direction. But Jenna is a super mom. There’s no other way to say it. She is there every single second, every single day."
Tatum also said that while he doesn’t consider himself a “super dad,” he adores being a father.
“I love being a dad,” the 21 Jump Street actor said. “They’re like little mirrors running around. They show you things about yourself you wouldn’t pay attention to before.”
