Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Best Saturday Night Live Moments: Watch


We can’t wait! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who are set to host Saturday Night Live on Saturday, December 19, had some truly hilarious moments when they were together on the hit NBC show.

A video posted on the SNL Facebook account on Friday, December 18, features the duo’s best moments, beginning with a memorable skit in which Fey, 45, portrayed former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, while Poehler, 44, played Hillary Clinton during the 2008 presidential election race.

“I was so excited when I was told Senator Clinton and I would be addressing you tonight,” Fey as Palin remarked.

“And I was told that I would be addressing you alone,” Poehler as Clinton quipped back.

Another memorable sketch featured the Sisters actresses in a spoof ad for mom jeans.

In another hilarious skit, Fey's Mean Girls costar Lindsay Lohan appeared as a guest star on the show’s “Weekend Update” segment.

“I’m not sure you two are the best mentors for me, anyway!” Lohan joked.

Poehler was a featured SNL cast member from 2001 to 2008, best known for her spot-on Hillary Clinton impression. Fey began as a writer for the show in 1997, going on to become the co-anchor of the “Weekend Update” in 2000. Though she left the show in 2006, she made numerous cameos in 2008, portraying Palin perfectly.
