She gets it! Coco Austin faced plenty of criticism for her tiny baby bump while she was pregnant with daughter Chanel, but the Ice & Coco host, 36, reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly — on newsstands now — that she can understand why some people questioned her pregnancy.

“When I look at pictures of myself, I would second-guess that person too!” says the fashion designer, who gained only 13 pounds while pregnant, and often showed off her bump on social media. “My friends were like, ‘Wait until the last month: Your bump is really gonna pop!’ But then I was nine months and I looked like I was just six months.”

“Not every woman has the same pregnancy. I don’t really know what to say other than I have nothing to prove, and she’s here now,” the former Ice Loves Coco star adds.

Coco welcomed Chanel, her first child, on November 28 with her husband of 13 years, Ice T. The little girl was a healthy 5 pounds, 7 ounces at birth.

The actress says she thought she’d “plump out like a whale” during her pregnancy, but surmises that because she stopped lifting weights, she lost a lot of muscle weight.

“I’m a bodybuilder, but I had to stop because my doctor told me early on that the baby was sitting very low, almost to the point that if I squatted, I could promote labor,” she tells Us. Another reason for her weight loss? “I always end my day with a glass of wine or a cocktail. As soon as I got pregnant, I cut that off.”

But now that Coco has given birth, getting her post-baby body in shape is not a priority for the vivacious dog lover, who dotes on her beloved bulldogs Spartacus and Maximus.

“This is the one time in my life that I don’t give a damn about my body,” the new mom says.
