Cringes and caviar. Ben Higgins might not have as much of a connection with Jubilee as The Bachelor producers have let on. In a sneak peek of the Monday, January 18, episode, the war vet awkwardly tries caviar with the the season 20 hunk.
“Do you like caviar?” Higgins, 27, asks Jubilee in the clip. “I’ve never tried it,” she replies.
They feed each other the delicacy, and things don’t go smoothly for 24-year-old Jubilee.
“I can’t,” she tells Higgins while trying not to gag. “I’m sorry. Oh, my God. I’m so sorry,” she tells her suitor while spitting out the gourmet treat into a napkin.
“I felt like I was kind of out of my element,” she later confesses to the camera. “I was just so nervous, and I was kind of scared.”
One food Jubilee is more comfortable with? “[I’m] obsessed with hot dogs,” she tells a surprised-looking Higgins.
