Welcome to her world! Tensions rise as Mariah Carey prepares for her tour and upcoming nuptials to James Packer in the first promo for her new unscripted show, Mariah’s World, premiering on E! later this year.
The eight-part series’ footage shows the “Hero” singer planning her wedding, which she refers to as the “most important event that’s ever happened.” She and the Australian billionaire, 48, got engaged in January after dating for less than a year.
One scene features Carey telling a friend, “I have a tour to do in less than two freaking weeks. Can I please focus on the important things?”
In another clip, the five-time Grammy winner refuses to take off her shades while indoors: “I’m wearing these glasses because we’re in fluorescent lighting, and I have a rule which states that I will not be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses. I know, it’s very ’90s.”
