Wiz Khalifa “Fell Asleep” During Taylor Swift’s Grammys Performance

Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Swift
During an appearance on Fashion Police, Wiz Khalifa said he "fell asleep" during Taylor Swift's headbanging Grammys performance of "All Too Well."

Ganging up on Taylor Gang? Wiz Khalifa threw some shade at Taylor Swift during an appearance on E!'s Fashion Police on Monday, Jan. 27.

"I loved that you had the good watch on, which is the detail," Fashion Police host Joan Rivers told Khalifa of his flashy accessory at the Jan. 26 Grammys in L.A. "How many times did you check that watch during Taylor Swift's endless ballad?"

"We love Taylor," Khalifa's wife Amber Rose replied, diplomatically.

But Khalifa didn't want to play so nice. "I love Taylor, but I'm not even gonna lie, I fell asleep," he said. "Just a little bit . . . then I woke back up."

The 26-year-old rapper has been friendly with the 24-year-old singer in the past. In November 2010, a "Mean Planes & Taylor Gangs" mashup of Swift's "Mean" and Khalifa's "This Plane" was created by artist Brenton Duvall and went viral. In May 2012, Khalifa shared an Instagram photo of himself posing with Swift with the caption, "Me N Taylor Gang."

At the 2014 Grammys on Sunday, Swift sang a stripped-down, passionate piano performance of her track "All Too Well" — about her ex Jake Gyllenhaal — that featured a lot of intense headbanging.

Though the country-pop crooner may not have won over Khalifa with her performance, Jennifer Lopez, for one, was a big fan. "Such a soulful performance @ the #Grammys by @taylorswift13," the American Idol judge tweeted on Jan. 27. "Piano headbanging is always in!! #GirlsJustWannaHaveFun #LoveThisGirl."
