Friends for life! Julia Louis-Dreyfus got some A-list lovin’ at the New York premiere of her new film, Enough Said, at the Paris Theatre on Monday, Sept. 16. The actress’ former Seinfeld costar Jerry Seinfeld hit the red carpet to show his support for his dear friend, and the pair flashed huge smiles before the film’s big debut.

Louis-Dreyfus has been keeping busy on the TV circuit, with leading roles on HBO series Veep and the now-defunct CBS show The New Adventures of Old Christine, but Enough Said actually marks the actress’ first return to movies since 1997’s Deconstructing Harry.

The 52-year-old actress rocked a simple black high-collar gown with strategic peekaboo slits, her hair pulled back away from her face. Seinfeld, 59, stayed comedian chic in a dark T-shirt, jeans and a velour blazer. Seinfeld came to a close in 1998, but the pair (along with fellow Seinfeld alum Michael Richards and Jason Alexander) have kept close over the years.

“I think that show is so fabulous,” she told The Huffington Post. “I absolutely love it. Maybe. We’ll see. We haven’t had that conversation. If he asked me to do it, I’d love to do it.”

In Enough Said, Louis-Dreyfus plays a single mom who begins to fall for fellow single parent Albert, played by the late James Gandolfini.

“The interesting thing is that James is really much more like Albert in this film than he ever was Tony Soprano,” she said. “He’s not a Mafioso type. He is very much a gentle giant of a man, as depicted in this movie.”
