Gwyneth Paltrow: My Life Looks A Lot Smoother Than It Actually Is

Life isn't all garden parties for Gwyneth Paltrow.

Although the GOOP mogul appears to have it all together (she just might need a little refresher course on driving a scooter), the mother of two revealed at Monday's premiere of "Thanks for Sharing" that everything isn't as effortless as it looks.

"I'm always pulling out my hair," Gwyneth told "omg! Insider" about balancing life behind the scenes. "I always fall short, and this morning I yelled at my son because he didn't put his shoes on and you know … I think sometimes it looks a lot smoother than it actually is."

Paltrow, 40, certainly made being glamorous look easy as she walked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere.

"I never get sick of dressing up," Paltrow, who wore a white Lanvin gown, continued. "I guess the red carpet gives me a reason to get dressed up, so I can't be too annoyed with the red carpet."

That's not to say Gwyneth felt like being dolled up all night.

The Oscar-winning actress skipped the film's afterparty at Aventine restaurant in Hollywood. (Hey, it was a school night).

Although Paltrow wasn't physically in attendance, she certainly was there in spirit.

The delicious buffet of sautéed greens, panzanella salad, chicken pancetta, and pizza with Brussels sprouts and onions, certainly had Gwyneth written all over it. As tray passers roamed the gorgeous eatery there were even non-dairy options available for guests.

Gwyneth and Pink might have passed on the bash, but that didn't stop their co-stars from having a boys' night out.

Josh Gad, Tim Robbins, and Patrick Fugit all held court on the patio and enjoyed a laugh together.
