Reactions to the 30-year-old Precious star’s satin-like, ivory-colored gown with a jewel-embroidered bodice by Michael Costello Couture ranged from cruel comments about her weight to users questioning her stylist Daniel Musto. “Clearly Gabby’s stylist doesn’t like her and has no problem stealing her money,” one user sniped.
The American Horror Story: Coven actress responded Monday and wrote, “To people making mean comments about my GG pics, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night.”
In turn, the reaction to her funny-but-true response was so well-received that she followed up her initial tweet and wrote, “Yay! Everyone is so wonderful and supportive of my shade! This might be a problem down the line. Thank you!”
The actress also clarified that the private plane was not her own with the hashtags #notmyjetthough and #imnotthatfancy.
