"I'll have toy elephants and rhinos around the room," the 31-year-old said. "We'll cover it in, you know, lots of bushes and things like that. [We'll] make him grow up as if he's in the bush."

The nursery design is one that the new dad holds close to his heart. The Duke of Cambridge discussed how he hopes his son will one day enjoy the same Africa he and Prince Harry once experienced as young boys. He hopes to introduce Africa and the endangered species early on, which was first shown to him by his father Prince Charles and his late mother Princess Diana. In addition, the first-time parents got engaged in October 2010 during a private holiday in Kenya.

He is "growing quite quickly actually. But he's a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot. And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem," Prince William quipped. "He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger. I'm not sure. But he's doing very well at the moment."

Prince William's one-hour special with Foster, Prince William's Passion: New Father, New Hope, airs Sunday, Sept. 15, at 10 p.m. EST on CNN.
