Buckwild’s Anna Davis Arrested For Aggravated DUI

Anna Davis
Anna Davis from MTV's Buckwild was arrested for an aggravated DUI on Nov. 16, 2013.

It seems, true to her former reality show's name, Anna Davis got too "Buckwild" on Friday night. TMZ reports the 23-year-old, who was known on the show as "The Ringleader," was arrested for an aggravated DUI in her home state of West Virginia in the early morning hours of Nov. 16.

Davis isn't the first former Buckwild star to be arrested since the show aired on MTV. In February 2013, Salwa Amin received felony charges for alleged drug distribution. That same month Michael Burford or "Bluefoot" as he's known, was also arrested for an aggravated DUI in West Virginia, blowing at .15.

Following her arrest, Davis tweeted, "Word to the wise: don't believe everything you read."

Buckwild was canceled in April 2013 following the tragic passing of cast member Shain Gandee or "Gandee Candy" as he was called on the show. Gandee died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the age of 21 after a car accident.

At the time the network released a statement saying, "After careful consideration, MTV will not be moving forward with season two of BUCKWILD in West Virginia. We love the cast and the show and this was not an easy decision, but given Shain's tragic passing and essential presence on the show, we felt it was not appropriate to continue without him. Instead, we are working on a meaningful way to pay tribute to his memory on our air and privately."
