She’s at it again! Miley Cyrus got her fourth tattoo from good friend Kat Von D Monday night, and quickly took to Twitter to show off the new ink to her over 15 million followers.
“Love, love, loved tattooing you last night, @mileycyrus!” Von D, 31, wrote via Twitter on Tuesday, Nov. 5. “#miniportraittattooparty.” She added: “Yesterday was a day of making music, tattooing, and hangin w friends…Gonna repeat that today!”
In response, the “We Can’t Stop” singer shared photos of the tattoo artist in the process of giving her fresh ink and of the new tattoo itself.
In the first photo, the “Wrecking Ball” songstress is seen in a dark room reclining back on a table in a black t-shirt and black pants. Her eyes are closed and her stomach is exposed as Kat Von D is shown concentrating while giving Cyrus, 20, the new ink on the inner part of her right arm.
In the second photo, a close-up picture of Cyrus’ tattoo is revealed. Tattooed right about her wrist, the picture is of a woman’s head with what appears to be short, blonde wavy locks. Alongside the picture Cyrus wrote: “Because I am her favorite & she is mine.”
So, who is the tattoo of? The new ink is a picture of Cyrus’ grandmother! When a fan asked Cyrus who the tattoo was of, she replied: “mammie.” In addition, Von D later posted a picture of the three-step process of the tattoo. “Grandmas rule,” she wrote alongside the photo.
Cyrus has been a regular customer of Jesse James’ ex over the years. In January, she got a tattoo of two crossed arrows on her right elbow. Two months later, Von D created a rendition of a da Vinci anatomical heart on Cyrus’ forearm. In August, she tweeted about a new design, but kept mum on the details and which part of her body was inked.
