Miley Cyrus Never Said Anything About Beyonce, Love Magazine Admits

Miley Cyrus, Beyonce Knowles
Love Magazine has admitted that the quotes attributed to Miley Cyrus about Beyonce "were made up"

Let the record show that Miley Cyrus is just as enamored of Beyonce as the rest of the world. After reports surfaced that the "Wrecking Ball" singer had dissed Queen Bey in an interview with the U.K.'s Love Magazine, Cyrus took to Twitter to set the record straight. And now the magazine itself has admitted the quotes were fabricated.

"@MileyCyrus never said anything to us about Beyonce," the publication tweeted on Thursday, Jan. 2. "The quotes were made up and we're trying to get to the bottom of where this came from. WE ALL LOVE BEYONCE."

As previously reported, the 21-year-old pop star was quoted as saying that Beyonce had been "out of the game" for too long because of her daughter. (The "XO" songstress gave birth to Blue Ivy nearly two years ago.)

"As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up, and no one else can properly fill that void right now," several outlets reported Cyrus telling Love Magazine. "I got the total package, you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I'm just the best."

Shortly after the quotes got picked up, the former Hannah Montana star spoke out to dispel the rumors. "That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got 'the looks and the curves, I'm just better!'" she tweeted.

"Don't worry. Getting 2 the bottom of this s–t," she added. "Making the liar retract the statement. U can cause A LOT of drama but NOT between me & B!"
