The “Mirrors” crooner, 32, and the Saturday Night Live alum, 39, played tag team for the episode, which included sketches dubbed “Wrappinville Cold Open,” “Family Feud Celeb Edition,” “#Hashtag,” and “The Barry Gibb Talk Show.” The episode also included a number of cameos from Madonna, Paul McCartney, Michael Bloomberg, and Barry Gibb himself!

Timberlake proved his comedic chops throughout the show, even causing Fallon to break down before the audience during the singer’s impersonation of the host in a Family Feud spoof sketch.

The two pals have previously worked together before. Back in March, Jessica Biel’s husband joined Fallon on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for an entire week to promote his new album. Five months later, the “Suit and Tie” singer once again joined the comic for “Timberweek.”

Timberlake later took to the stage and performed “Only When I Walk Away,” a lesser-known track in his 20/20 Experience album. This was his fifth time performing as a musical guest on SNL. Fallon, meanwhile, was a staple on SNL from 1999 to 2004. He is currently gearing up to replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2014.

The show will return Jan. 18 with Drake as its host and musical guest.
