It was revealed last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Oprah Winfrey suffers from a debilitating condition. The talk show maven was mid-interview when she was suddenly overcome with “that feeling,” she said.
Appearing on the show to promote her new film, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Winfrey started to talk about her costar Forest Whitaker when she suddenly paused and said, “Hold on a minute. I just, I just got that feeling again.”
“I really didn’t want it to happen here,” she continued as a perplexed Kimmel tried to figure out what was going on. A distraught Winfrey then asks a random girl from the audience to come to the stage, at which point it becomes clear what her ailment is — the need to give away super-expensive gifts to unsuspecting people!
“You, you, you get a car!” Winfrey announced to the stunned girl as confetti fell onto the stage. Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo then escorted the winner outside where it was revealed that she had scored a Ford Fusion Hybrid sedan!
Asked how often she feels these bouts of generosity, Winfrey replied, “Every once in a while, Jimmy, it just happens. Especially when I skip lunch.”
