Though the shows could not be more different — one is family friendly and the other rife with violence, nudity, and strong language — Sesame Street introduced puppet version of several main characters, including Cersei Lannister, Joffrey Lannister, Robb Stark, and Daenerys Targaryen.

As seen on the TV series, various families battle for the throne over the kingdom of Westeros. In the vein of Westeros, it's announced by a puppet man resembling the late Ned Stark in the opening scene of the parody that "Jesteros needs a new king or queen." Duking it out for the throne, or in this case, chair, includes several cast members — some already dead in George R.R. Martin's books and on the HBO series.

Vying for the throne includes Cersei, Joffrey, Robb, and Daenerys, with smart references to the Red Wedding, the Wall, and Cersei's (ahem!) unconventional relationship with her brother Jamie, as well as a surprise appearance from high priestess Melisandre. There's even a cute mention of the "mommy of dragons."
