Ain't no use in trying to slow her down! Miranda Lambert flaunted her new, svelte physique wearing a form-fitting little black dress to the 61st annual BMI Country Awards in Nashville, Tenn. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The country singer, 29, revealed her much-slimmer body on the red carpet in a sleeveless, black, cutout dress designed by Black Halo with embellishments, and paired the outfit with stilettos, a glittery clutch emblazoned with her name and jewelry by Danielle Queller. The "House That Built Me" crooner left her soft locks down and accented her features with dark eye makeup and girly pink lips.
Lambert, whose curvaceous figure has been replaced by a noticeably more toned body, told Self magazine back in 2012: "I don’t care about being stick-thin. I don’t want stuff to jiggle. Really skinny actresses make me hungry," she said. "I see them and think, Honey, you need to eat! I'm lucky I don’t have to live like that. I feel my best when I’m a toned, not flabby, size 8. Women come up to me and say, 'You’re beautiful and confident,' and that makes me feel I can be, too."
While husband Blake Shelton did not attend the awards ceremony (he was busy fulfilling mentoring duties on The Voice), his Mrs. looked happier and healthier than ever — and the country super couple's marriage is just fine too, thank you very much. In late October, Shelton took to Twitter to address A report alleging that he and Lambert were headed for divorce. "I just read back to back NEW stories that @mirandalambert and I are having a baby, divorcing, cheating and feuding with @cher. Must be true!" Shelton sarcastically shared with his 4 million plus followers.
Up next for Blake and his beautiful wife? The country power couple has been nominated individually for multiple Country Music Association Awards ahead of Wednesday evening's ceremony, including Female Vocalist of the Year for Lambert and Male Vocalist of the Year for her hubs. (Shelton has won in this category for three straight years in a row.)
