Toronto Film Festival Parties: All the Details!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt attend "Looper" party at Soho House Toronto on September 6, 2012 in Toronto, Canada.

Since 2007, the Academy Awards’ Best Picture winner has screened or debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. Last year, it was Argo; the year before that, it was The Artist. Hence the 23-year-old Canadian film fest, usually shortened to “TIFF”, has become a breeding ground for early Oscar buzz. Getting a movie into this prestigious roundup is cause for celebration — and just like Sundance and Cannes, there are plenty of local venues to keep the party going late into the night. During the day there are a number of lounges where hundreds of A-list actors are able to kick back, refuel, get a touch-up and even play around with some games.

Returning to the festival circuit, ultimate car service app Uber will be connecting TIFF visitors with that much-needed ride from party to party — and Us Weekly has the hook up! Enter in code “TIFF2013” after signing up, and Uber will give you $20 off a black car ride in Toronto.

Here, Us Weekly rounds up just a few of TIFF’s hottest parties, lounges and more.
