Miley Cyrus isn't letting Joe Jonas off the hook that easy! The "We Can't Stop" singer has officially responded to the 24-year-old's claim that the songstress and fellow Disney alum Demi Lovato first introduced him to weed years ago.
"If you want to smoke weed, you're going to smoke weed. There's nothing that two little girls are going to get you to do that you don't want to do," Cyrus, 21, tells the New York Times in a new interview. "I thought maybe he was saying that like it was going to make him look badass."
She adds: "We were so young that it's actually like, 'How did you get peer pressured by me?'"
In a revealing essay for the Dec. 9 issue of New York magazine, Jonas opened up about smoking weed with the young Hollywood stars, among many other topics such as when he lost his virginity and when he and his brothers Nick, 21, and Kevin, 26, decided to step down from the Jonas Brothers.
But as for Lovato's response? Surprisingly, the 21-year-old former X Factor judge didn't mind at all about Jonas name dropping her in the piece. "Love you brother. #family/friendsforver," she said via Twitter in response at the time.
