Rejoice, fellas: Kate Upton is back on the market! After six months together, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy have recently split, multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.
"They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart," an insider tells Us. "[Chmerkovskiy] has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn't working anymore." (When contacted by Us, Chmerkovskiy's rep declined to comment on his personal life.)
Us exclusively revealed back in June that the 21-year-old Other Woman actress and 33-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro were dating. The twosome went public with their romance in September — holding hands during a walk in New York City. One month later, Chmerkovskiy opened up about their relationship with Us at the Oct. 17 launch of his brother Val Chmerkovskiy's Valentin Clothing at Philippe in Beverly Hills.
"She's an amazing person," Chmerkovskiy gushed. "We have an incredible time together, and, you know, I definitely didn't see that coming and I think neither did she. We enjoy each other's company very much and like I said, she's a great girl that I never thought anything romantic like this could have happened."
