No Doubt about it — Gwen Stefani is one hot mom. The 43-year-old "Wind It Up" singer looked fit and fabulous on Friday, Aug. 16, when she was spotted soaking up the sun in a bikini on vacation with her husband, Gavin Rossdale, and their two kids in the South of France.

Lounging on a boat with Rossdale, 47, and sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 4, the No Doubt frontwoman showed off her toned arms and tummy in a pink bikini top and striped, side-tie bottoms. Her platinum blonde hair was pulled into a high, messy bun, and she wore printed sunglasses to shield her eyes.

The revealing getup is a refreshing change for the star, who often goes fully clothed to the beach and/or seeks shelter from the sun under a parasol. Rossdale, a singer for the band Bush, is generally less modest, and his tanned, buff bod was on display again in the South of France.

You'd never know it from looking at her, but Stefani — once famous for her rock-hard abs — has scaled back her fitness regimen in recent years. In December 2012, she told Marie Claire that she had to give up working out in order to make time for all of her different projects. (In addition to music and motherhood, the star is hard at work on her L.A.M.B. fashion label.)

"I was swimming upstream, trying to balance everything that's been going on with having kids and a family," she told the mag. "There's no way to do all these things."

"I would be up all night because my second baby didn't sleep, and he had a lot of ear infections," she explained. "Then I'd wake up in the morning and do my workout, which I always felt I had to do, and then meetings for my three clothing lines, and then hang out with my kids, take them to preschool — da, da, da."

"At four o'clock, I'd be like, 'Alright, I'm out of here. I'm going to go to the studio and try to write a record,'" she continued. "I'd sit on the couch [with my band mates] and be like, 'Let's do this now, because I'm missing time with the kids. I could be having dinner with them and putting them to bed.' It was really hard."

Clearly, something had to go — and that something was strict, daily exercise. "This past year, I kind of stopped working out," she admitted. "I think my body just needed a break. And so I did that and focused more on feeling good as opposed to beating myself up."
