LeAnn Rimes isn’t letting six more weeks of winter keep her out of a bikini. The “Spitfire” singer, 31, put Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction behind her with a sun-filled, skin-baring trip to the beach in Hawaii, where she is vacationing with husband Eddie Cibrian. See more pics from their vacation!
Rimes looked both happy and healthy as she frolicked through the sand and surf on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2. True to her bikini-loving self, she showed off her fit physique and incredible abs in a white bandeau top and matching bottoms by Valimare.
The country star and her husband jetted off to Honolulu on Feb. 1. “1st stop Pipeline & a fresh coconut stand!” she tweeted that night. “So beautiful, so delicious. P.S. I don’t even know why I packed shoes.”
The next day, she posted a photo of herself with Cibrian on the beach. “Happy Hawaii!” she captioned the pic. “Yep, another lovey dovey bikini photo. #moretocome”
Rimes once joked that she spent all her time in beachwear — even when she was nowhere near the beach. “I mean, people think that I serve coffee in a bikini!” she quipped to Yahoo! Celebrity last year. “I might as well serve it in it, just for the hell of it! To me it’s hysterical that people think I walk around in a bikini 24/7.”
To be fair, she’s not exactly shy about stripping down on Twitter and Instagram. But she hasn’t always been so comfortable in her own skin.
“Now I’m secure about my body, although I’m like any other woman and have my moments of self-doubt,” she told the Daily Mail in April 2013. “But it’s nice to have a husband who tells you you’re beautiful all the time. I’ll say to him, ‘I’ve gained a few pounds,’ and he’ll say, ‘Good!’ It just gives you another level of confidence.”
