Is that a confirmation? Us Weekly revealed on Monday, Jan. 6 that Emma Roberts is engaged to boyfriend Evan Peters, but the couple has yet to publicly announce the news. The American Horror Story costars' photographer pal Tyler Shields, however, has already shared his congratulations to the couple on Twitter.
"Congrats to @RobertsEmma and Evan Peters for getting Engaged this was the moment I knew he really loved her!" he captioned a photo on Twitter on Jan. 6. Shields, 31, posted a previous photo he took of the couple. In the artsy snapshot, Roberts is seen falling in the air with Peters standing below ready to catch her.
The celebrity photographer also tweeted Monday, "Congrats to @robertsemma on her engagement love you! It's important to marry someone who is there to catch you when you fall . . ."
Shields has photographed the couple numerous times, including shots for his "Suspense" gallery in March 2013 and back in October 2012 for his "Synthetic" series.
Roberts, 22, and Evans, 26, began dating in spring 2012. Extra first reported on Monday that Evans proposed over the holidays in New York City with a pink, gold diamond ring.
The future spouses had a bit of a rough 2013. Roberts was arrested in July for domestic violence against Peters following a heated argument at a hotel in Montreal. Reps for the stars told Us at the time: "It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."
