Royal cabin fever? Now six days past her April 23 due date, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton drove to Buckingham Palace with her hubby Prince William ahead of her little one's arrival.
On Wednesday, April 29, Middleton, 33, and William, 32, left their Kensington Palace home around 11 a.m. Prince George's mother got behind the wheel and William took the passenger seat.
The royals were celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary on the low-key day, marking the moment that they said "I do" on April 29, 2011, in the festive ceremony at Westminster Abbey. "They will be spending it privately," a Kensington Palace spokesperson tells Us Weekly of the couple's anniversary plans.
A source tells Us that Prince George stayed back at Kensington Palace with his nanny Maria. Though palace sources remain tight-lipped about the outing, some are speculating that the pregnant Duchess went swimming to help induce labor.
On Tuesday, Middleton took her 21-month-old son to swimming lessons at Buckingham Palace. As the royal couple continues to go about their everyday routine, the world waits for the arrival of their second child.
Meanwhile, the parking restrictions outside of St. Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing have been extended to run through May 5.
