David Schwimmer Called “Not Cool” in Angry Neighbors’ Graffiti

David Schwimmer, who purchased a town house in NYC's east village a few years back, was targeted by some angry neighbors recently.

Looks like it'll be tougher to shake off that Ross stereotype than he might have thought! David Schwimmer was faced with that rude awakening on Tuesday, Aug. 27, when someone left an insulting graffiti on a large piece of plywood next to his newly constructed townhouse.

"Ross is not cool," the message read, with an arrow pointing off to the side, presumably at Schwimmer's home (the signage has since been painted over). The former Friends actor, 46, purchased a historic 1852 Tuscan-inspired townhouse a few years back, only to demolish it in order to erect his own brand new home.

Angry neighbors and concerned citizens expressed disdain for the actor's actions at the time, taking to blogs like evgrieve.com to air their concerns.

"You have got to be kidding me. David Schwimmer, your karma is f–ked forever in the east village," one poster wrote. "Please just get the f–k out of here and go to the west village … maybe there are still some unprotected historic treasures over there for you to demolish."

Schwimmer married wife Zoe Buckman in 2010 after three years of dating, and the couple gave birth to a baby girl Cleo in May 2011. The family of three reside in New York. The actor opened up about his adventures with his little gal during a benefit in Los Angeles last year, calling domestic life "just a blast."

"Every day she just makes me laugh my butt off," he told reporters at the time. "It's thrilling to see the changes."
