Katy Perry is ready to roar! On the heels of her 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance on Aug. 25, the singer revealed the promo pic and the music video release date for her latest "Roar" single.
"THE #ROAR MUSIC VIDEO IS COMING TO YOU IN JUNGLESCOPE SEPT 5TH!" she wrote via Twitter on Friday, Aug. 30. The brunette stunner took a page from Tarzan and Jane in a jungle-themed painting.
The "Wide Awake" star went for a cleaving baring leopard-print bikini top, a grass skirt, and wore her black wavy hair down. Perry topped off the artwork with a tiger, elephant, money, parrots, alligator and perhaps a male love interest in the background.
Perry previously went a different route with the new tune, by performing "Roar" in a boxing-themed set at the VMAs under the Brooklyn Bridge.
"Roar" will be featured on her third album, Prism. The new music is her official follow-up to 2012's Teenage Dream.
