Ellen DeGeneres Takes Oscars 2014 Group Selfie With Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and More: Amazing Photo

Is there a bigger word than “epic”? Ellen DeGeneres absolutely made the most of the staggering star power in the front rows inside L.A.’s Dolby Theatre at the 2014 Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2 to pull off what felt like a historic social media moment. “So, right now, I’m going to take a picture of us and we will see if we can break the record for the most retweets.” The night’s host then corralled Streep’s neighbors Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto and other stars.

“If only Bradley’s arm was longer. Best photo ever,” reads the caption on the photo — which is, as promised, pretty great.

DeGeneres went back into the aisles just a few moments later to feed her guests pizza — with Jolie, Pitt, Streep and others grabbing slices from a pizza deliveryman escorted out by DeGeneres.
