Red hot co-anchor! Savannah Guthrie dyed her light brunette locks a new fiery shade of red, and showed off the dramatic new dye job on the TODAY show Thursday, Aug. 15.
"I went red," the 41-year-old new anchor announced on the show, flaunting her shoulder-length hair. "It's my natural color — not!"
Why the color swap? Guthrie said she decided to go red "just for fun, just a change." Fellow anchor Natalie Morales said she loved the look and it will be perfect for fall.
And perhaps the perfect hair color for her upcoming nuptials as well? Guthrie became engaged to Democratic political and communications consultant Michael Feldman in May.
In a new interview with ELLE, Guthrie was asked whether she and her future husband would like to have children one day. "I would love to have kids," she shared. "I hope so, if we're lucky and blessed, but who knows what life holds, you know? I'm 41 years old."
Guthrie also spoke to the magazine about her relationship with the TODAY show audience. "We have a very intimate connection with the audience because of the hour and because of the kind of show it is," she explained. "I am truly touched by [the devotion of the audience.] It's kind of moving, if you think about it."
