Nineties nostalgia at New York Fashion Week! At the Sept. 12 runway show for Marc Jacobs, who was fashion’s wiz kid of the ’90s, Mermaids costars Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci reunited while sitting in the front row!
The beloved 1990 movie featured the two actresses as eccentric sisters who move from town to town at the whim of their unlucky-in-love mom, played by Cher. Ryder, now 41, looked ageless in a black cardigan and green satin dress with pleated skirt, while Ricci, now 33, was radiant in a black crop top and matching flared mini skirt. Both wore their long brown hair down and swept to the side.
The one-time onscreen sisters chatted animatedly in the front row and were joined by another ’90s indie darling — Parker Posey! Also eyeing the collection were stars Rachel Zoe, Michelle Dockery, and Julianne Hough.
